Captain Kirk (Pine) and his crew are three years into their five year mission when they are ambushed. The Enterprise suffers devastating damage and most of her crew is taken hostage or killed. Together they must stop new enemy Krall (Elba) from unleashing a weapon of mass destruction on the galaxy.
