The characters, despite the short time we know them, are well fleshed out and realised.

The story in Dead Trees Give No Shelter is a succinctly written but gripping tale with an entertaining and unexpected plot.

If you enjoy horror short stories from masters like Stephen King then Wil Wheaton’s novelette Dead Trees Give No Shelter is well worth a read.
