Twenty years after the death of his brother, Jay Turner returns to his hometown in Ohio to uncover the secrets of his past in the hopes of finding a future.

Dead Trees Give No Shelter is a quick and fascinating little slice of life horror novelette.

The characters, despite the short time we know them, are well fleshed out and realised.

The story in Dead Trees Give No Shelter is a succinctly written but gripping tale with an entertaining and unexpected plot.

If you enjoy horror short stories from masters like Stephen King then Wil Wheaton’s novelette Dead Trees Give No Shelter is well worth a read.
